In 1999, upon graduating Valedictorian from Beaver Creek High School in West Jefferson, Dr. Yates attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2002, Dr. Yates earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He was accepted into the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and graduated in 2006. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honors. Immediately after graduation, he moved back to Jefferson, North Carolina and began construction on his office. The office opened its doors in July 2006.
Beyond the professional realm, Dr. Yates is deeply rooted in the joy of human connections.
